Looking For New Staff

It's summer time, which is a traditional hiring period for new AKF authors.
We will have the same requirements as last time.

However, those requirements are just for authors. If you think you have a skill set that could compliment AKF but that skill isn't writing, send us an email and we'll try to work something out.

If you hadn't noticed yet, we have lost some authors: sulli_fag, The Duchess, WTFisastarship, and Krakenoid. I am not going to bother keeping anyone who goes six-plus months without posting on a regular basis. This is something that I want to make clear to anyone who wants to join the team as an author: don't join just to stop posting after a month. Not only are you wasting your time, but you are wasting our time and taking away a spot away from someone who actually wants to write. We typically only hire 2-3 authors at a time, so spots are limited. Don't be a dick if you honestly have no intention on sticking around.

Writing for AKF isn't a huge time sink, though people try to pretend like it is. The short articles take roughly 15 to 20 minutes to post, while the longer and more intricate posts take several hours at the most. If you can't honestly spare 2-4 hours a month to write, don't bother.

The only reason I say this is because in the fall, I am resigning as Head Administrator and will just be a normal author once AKF returns. In his absence, we have proven that the site can live without him posting a lot, but once he returns, he won't be able to post that frequently. That is why I'm looking for a team of authors who will help pick up the slack instead of hiring people who say "Hey, I'm part of the AKF team yet I never do anything!"

For this round of hiring, Fany Pack, Soyeon Friend and myself will be selecting who will be the authors. Anyone who gets hired has to send their articles to akisame for review, but while she's on hiatus for the next month, Fany and/or myself will fill her role.

Send any applications and inquiries to hanyeseul_fag@yahoo.com

Mamamoo Hwasa's sexual performance?

Pann : Mamamoo Hwasa, isn't this too much? 1. [+140, -5] It looks more sexual because she has a good body. It was Mamamoo's concert and it was +15. 2. [+95, -15] This is why they say women's enemy is women. You call it sexy when male idols rip their clothes off and do pelvic dances but it's a problem when a female idol does it? It only looks sexy and pretty. 3. [+85, -1] It would be considered too much if this was done on broadcast but it was a +15 concert. It's fine. 4. [+35, -0] It's still better than female idols' lolita appeal nowadays 5. [+26, -0] It looks more like that because the dress color is nude. And like in foreign countries, adult sexiness is better than short school uniforms and lolita. 6. [+23, -0] You never bought an album and yet you're complaining about this and that 7. [+22, -1] It's a concert anyways. Other male idols wear more sexual clothes. 8. [+21, -26] It looks a bit off...

Rain recounts a story of when Park Jin Young went above and beyond for him

Article : Rain expresses gratitude towards Park Jin Young for dropping everything to be there for his mother "It's thanks to hyung that my mother got to live a few more weeks" Source : Insight via Instagram "When I was around 17-18 years old, my mother fell sick and I couldn't take her to the hospital because I didn't have any money. I asked several places for help but no one could offer it. I then asked Jin Young hyung, 'Hyung, please save us. I don't have any money to hospitalize my mother.' Jin Young hyung then canceled all of his schedules and came to my home. He put my mother on his back, got her a car, and took us to the hospital. He co-signed for us and got us in. It was thanks to him that I got to be with my mother for another two weeks." 1. [+528] Even when he's as rich enough to have 45 billion won now... I'm sure the 2-3 weeks he got to spend with his mother were more meaningful than anything else. And no wonder he feels so...

Article: 2017 starts off to another girl group rush Source: TV Report via Naver 1. [+208, -5] For how much name value AOA has, their digital rank has been lost in Andromeda..... not even comparable to Cosmic Girls or April anymore because I don't even see them on the Melon charts.
